⚙️ Moodle upgrade – we have upgraded from Moodle 3.11 to Moodle 5.1. The new version looks quite different, but don’t worry: the Moodle tools you already use are still there. See our Introduction to Moodle 5.1 for teachers.
🪲 Bug update – Moodle email delays. Moodle notifications from Thursday 5 and Friday 6 November 2026 were delayed until Saturday 7 November because of a security incident. Happily, the problem is now fixed.

- Moodle Academy provides free Moodle training. Its Introduction to Moodle gives a short introduction to the platform, while the Moodle Teaching Basics programme provides more comprehensive training for teachers.
- Moodle @ Bilkent genmoodle course is a self-access or workshop orientation resource and an example of different ways Moodle can be used to manage learning (requires a “genmoodle” account)
