Moodle is software that runs on computer hardware on the university premises. Sometimes, technical problems mean it is not available.
First, check connectivity. University campus internet outages or brief service interruptions may prevent access to Moodle temporarily, so check you can access your university webmail and SRS.
If Moodle is definitely broken, then, wait a little while. Usually, when Moodle goes offline during the working day, BCC sysadmins can get it working again pretty quickly (but this will take longer in the evenings and at weekends)
If Moodle is definitely not available and your assignment due date or time is approaching, then please:
- contact your instructor to let them know about the situation, and;
- send your instructor a copy of your assignment so they know you have completed it.
N.b., Remember to collect dated evidence of any problems and error messages you have uploading your assignments to Moodle. It is important to show your instructor that your problems occurred before the due date or time of the assignment.
Once your work is with your instructor, please email moodle@bilkent.edu.tr with details of any error message, in case we don’t know about the problem yet.
